Tasaka Games: A tabletop role-playing game company

Tasaka Games is a modest one-person tabletop gaming company, created out of love for the gaming community. Several sources of inspiration led to the development of this humble gaming company, which includes the Old School Revival/Renaissance RPG movement and the multitude of homebrew RPG systems, podcasts and fan-created resources. The creation of Tasaka Games is my way of sharing my homebrew games and adventures with the gaming community; a community that I am proud to be a part of. DCC Eastern Adventures

Dungeon Crawl Classics Eastern Adventures is a campaign supplement designed to provide You, the DCC Judge, with the resources needed to run an Eastern themed DCC campaign. Included in this campaign supplement are 100 unique zero-level occupations, three new demi-human classes (the Kitsune, the Koropokuru, and the Tengu), new weapons and armour, Eastern deities, two new Supernatural Patrons and their related patron spells, new monsters, and an Eastern Adventures zero-level adventure (The Unlikely Origins Story).

Fantastic Adventures and the Disgruntled Gong Farmer is a Dungeon Crawl Classics compatible third-party adventure module, designed to capture the ‘quirky old school feel’ of Dungeon Crawl Classics. Set in the Villages of the Muir Forest, this adventure module is made up for three linked adventures: The King’s Challenge, Kobolds Stole My Cat! and The Gong Farmer’s Revenge.

White Box: Eastern Adventures

White Box: Eastern Adventures is based on the simple and creative game-play mechanics of the 1974 ‘White Box’ iteration of the ‘World’s Most Famous Role-Playing Game’. This ‘rules-light’ OSR system aims at capturing the feel and flavour of the ‘White Box’ set, where ‘rulings, not rules’ defined the game. White Box: Eastern Adventures is set in a world based on Japanese folklore and mythology, featuring classes and monsters with an eastern flair.

Red Box: Eastern Adventures

Red Box: Eastern Adventures is a rules light OSR game that builds on the simple gameplay mechanics of White Box: Eastern Adventures, by added a few more mechanics (‘crunch’) to the game. This system is inspired by, and aspires to create, the Old School feel of the early iterations of the ‘World’s Most Famous Role-Playing System’.
